Fane regarded the human with an odd look, not quite annoyed but rather intrigued. "What... are you doing?" He asked still as relaxed as before even with the human clinging to his side.

"Hugging you?" Markus responded. "I could let go if you-"

"No it's quite alright I simply didn't expect you to... do that. You seemed pretty adamant about avoiding physical contact earlier."

"Character development." The human responded simply and pushed his cheek a little harder against the Eternal's shoulder.

"I... I see then." Fane said, raising one of his eyebrows and looking away from the human. While he waited for Markus to fully satisfy himself he reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a small notebook which he promptly proceeded to write in. "...appears to have formed an attachment..." It said, just out of Markus' sight as he squeezed Fane once more in his arms.
