^_^ It's been such a long time since I have started and finished a new piece of music. I owe it all to  Dabs for creating this music contest that motivated me to start writing new material again. Hope it's to your liking, Dabs.

So, I wrote this piece with Pachelbel's "Canon in D" in mind. I use a very similar instrumentation. Only difference would be a piano in place of the harpsichord. The contest required I stick to a certain 8 bar chord progression, which I figured would be easy if I made the piece into a canon so that the same chords are just naturally repeated over and over. I did stray from it a little towards the end, but I hope that's ok.

I really like how this turned out and I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing it. ^_^
