I loved it and still do, Luke. I said so only in private before and it simply wouldn't be fair to leave this lovely submission without a proper comment. You deserve a better dude and I feel lucky that you aren't hating me for being such a Slowpoke when phrasing myself and sitting down to write these. I guess I'm a bit of a mess at times. <X3

It's a supersweet idea with the Totodile's Day stage presentation like a festive gala event with fun and music and fancy outfits. I'm sure that Shiny would be all over this and enjoy it to cooperate with Lockjaw for the festivities. In a way it reminds me of some anniversary episodes of anime that I like to watch, where the main characters gather and thank the viewers for their company and loyalty.
Whatever they might perform or share, it's assured that those two are having a splendid time together. They look very cute and neat in their tuxedos and with their tophats and bow-ties.

The design you gave them reminds me of a mix between their feral and the anthro shape that you like to give Lockjaw sometimes, with longer limbs to probably give the clothes an easier fit. You colored in everything neatly.
In regard of the cell shading, it does remind me of myself who sometimes struggles with how to set up which areas should receive shades. The effort and sentiment though is what I definitely acknowledge and feel grateful about that you took the extra time for all of it.
The artwork also would probably work great as a foldable party invitation card, I feel. The two Diles standing in a perfect symmetry to eachother, showcasing that they put a lot of time into mimicking eachothers steps for a cute dance number.

As said before, I think you drew them really well, Luke. The colors that you chose for them do compliment eachother nicely and their marks of recognition are placed also well visable. The curtain and the stage floor background with the spotlight for the two Totodiles is also awesomely integrated, with every line to be positioned in the perfectly spaced positions to have it look identical and proper in regards of the architecture.

A lovely and expressive comic-esque work that makes me wonder why you didn't yet make an art folder for your own creations and that I feel honored of having received, Luke. I hope that we will keep having lots of fun and I wish you that you and all your loved ones will only have wonderful moments in the future.

Yeah, the short arms always kinda bothered me. There's a fully anthro version of Lockjaw's Totodile self as well and his Feraligatr self is also anthro. I like the longer arms for another reason: Clothing is easier to fit on him. :3

Yeah, I like cel shading. It looks nice. I actually like Wind Waker's art style as well. And yeah, it had to look extra special for you.

Hehe, well, we both like our share of Poképuns (and aren't as on the nose as Okido-sensei in Sun/Moon. XD) so that might make for a good idea for a show. And I am glad that you are still happy about my silly words and texts when I try to phrase myself. Oh, honestly, I never thought of the arms as short. Since Pokémon also are cartoon characters, they just appear sometimes a lil short but actually it's a perspective thing and they can stretch their arms. The Pokémon anime showcases that quite some times actually. Like take this time in DP145 where Totodile uses Superpower as an example. Doesn't look like supershort arms to me at least. =3

Ah, you praise me so much! I'm just a big silly guy, really. But I'm happy when I can share the fun and gave you a smile every now and then. I hope I can keep living up to all of it.
