Well I have a good chunk of the storyline completed, though I really don't have a name for the main character. Originaly I was going to call her Super Jenn, but she really isn't the same person as me. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know.

Me, I already got my hero name AND theme song down!
By day, Simon Byrne is your average tech worker and otaku hobbyist. He loves video games, anime, manga, and even sells some of it on the side.
However, when danger calls and only a sharp mind, and clever tactics prevail, Simon Byrne unsheathes the Scimitar of Secrets he obtained a long time ago and assumes the role of...
OTAKU-MAN!!!!
With his mighty mind, mystical blade, and passion for justice, Otaku-Man will do what it takes to end corruption around the world!
Wherever Otaku-Man is, evil shall not prevail!
Theme song (Well, it'd sound something like this):

well she is has pretty much the same powers as SuperMan, but not as crazy powerful. She has super strength, invunrability, fair super speed, the ability to fly, and I haven't decided yet if I want to give her laser eyes ^_^;;; but she doesn't get all these powers at once.. it kind of comes to her over time. I was thinking of calling ehr something like PowerFox or something like that. *shrugs* heck I dont even know what kind of animal she would be. o3o
Looks very cool to me. I like the pose and the design work. Very lovely! :)
However, I have to ask this ... does she really need a super heroine name? And especially to start out with? We could be dealing with a heroine of an evolving stage ... she finds she's got powers, then she's got to deal with what she will do with them, and work her way through all sorts of other possibilities. Perhaps she doesn't want to be a heroine, but a normal girl who got unwillingly into this role.
Keep in mind, I love a good back story and a character who can keep a reader fascinated with how they move along through their life. :)

I completly agree with this, but the problem is that her super hero name will be the title of the book. I have no problem coming up with plot lines, but the title always stumps me for some reason. The first series of comics that I plan to put out will be about her learning about her powers and abilities in this world.
Try this ... instead of letting the hero or heroine's name be the title, use something that is happening in the story. For example, the stories I'm working on have superheroines in it, yet none of their names hit the titles. PlastiCat and Ricochet, the Elastic Cats, appear in "Stretching Things" while Israfel and her friends pop up in "Destiny's Daughters". :)
Just right off the cuff, I'd call your story something like "Brave New World" or "Undiscovered Country" because of what she is trying to do.

For reference, if you want the character to be a fox, there is quite literally a type of fox known as the "Cape Fox".

If you go for a wolf character, I'd recommend working Lobo or even the obvious Lupus (Lu, Lupe, Lupo, Lupine) into the name. Super hero names wane between the painfully obvious puns, to the unrelated and stupid. Usually I like the ones that make perfect sense without getting nutty. But I also like the horrible puns on occasion, because the are so bad, lol.
Here are some examples of what I mean
The Good*
The Question - Mysterious figure trying to out conspiracies, wearing a faceless mask.
Oracle - Now crippled, former Batgirl Barbara Gordon fights cyber crime and guides field heroes.
Elixer - New Mutant with the ability to alter DNA and tissue. Initially used his abilities to heal, later realizing he could (unfortunately) cause instant cancer and death.
Vixen - Can access various animal-related powers through her magic totem amulet (which looks like a fox head).
The Bad*
ANY name that starts with a descriptor, followed by a noun
IE "Superman" "Wonder Woman", "Batman", "Animal Man",
"Spiderman", "Ironman", "Strong Guy", "She-Hulk"[/i]
The Ugly*
Harley Quinn - Madwoman sidekick to the Joker, born Harleen Quinzel
Vanisher - Teleports anywhere, conveniently born Telford Porter
Rictor - Creates earthquakes, conveniently born Julio Esteban Richter
* Whether their name is clever, punny, or blunt has nothing to do with how successful or interesting the characters are though. Hell, the most popular ones are the ones with names that contain their abilities in their name (I'm looking at you Invisible Woman- wait, where did you go?). Hell, some of my favorite characters include Animal Man, Multiple Man, and "Shadow Cat".
So when you know what animal she is, and what skill set the character has, I think you will know what name to use.

I'm gonna agree with akagen. Any name composed of an adjective and a noun will sound like a cheezy 60's superhero.

select the inner part of what you want glowy, increase the pixel size by 5-25 depending on how much you want it to be over the line work, then feather the selection by 5-10 pixels and fill it with a lighter color. make sure that the glowy layer is infront of the line layer and it will give you that nice glow.
