From planes that had no throttle (toggled the ignition to slow down), no armor, and no parachutes! To today's aircraft that fly more than 2x the speed of sound and heights impossible to reach. From "Bloody April" to "Eagles Day" in 22 years after 1918.. A force forged in war where men were expected to die in their planes to one staving a tiny island nation away from total annihilation, in wars both hot and cold.
Much respect, *salutes*
