Well I have a remote for the locks, just it was at home and my house key was also in the car. Leaving me stuck till my parents got home, but steps have now been taken to keep this from happening again.

Oh I bet...But the ironic thing is this was at least 15-20 after I spent least 3-5 bucks to get a few supplies from Walmart to get the car open

Moments like that make you have to decide;

Should I hit him over the head with this stuff?

Or

Figure out some way of rigging this stuff to the car so if he happens to actually lock the keys in, it won't be another 3-5 bucks.

Or

Should I just forget the whole thing.
