It’s scientifically known that humans prefer being in wide-open spaces with lots of vegetation and non-disruptive scenery. This is known a the “savanna preference“, and you can feel proud knowing that your desires are part of a broad cultural universal that is best satisfied by attempting to find such a place.
I've never heard of that before and I'm looking into it more! Thank you so much for sharing that with me. Ive always had this peaceful, rolling hills grassland in my thoughts when I envision deep inner peace. It's really interesting that similar thoughts may be in everyone else's mind too.
