No, she didn't grow from a carrot. Just messing with Index. Unfortunately I don't think Saffron has heard of the Pretty Butter incident. Saffron is probably going to have to apologize later. I wonder if Index will stop eating carrots now.

Funnily enough, the original idea of that drawing was to have Index instead of Viola. I only swapped them out because Index was going to meet Saffron in this comic, so I decided to diversify. Let me have that whole "you have no idea what you have done to yourself" line as well which was nice.
Saffron will take any opportunity to poke a bit of fun.
