A newspaper clipping from the day after Game 7 of the 2009 FBA Finals.
gildedtongue wrote this article after I released the podcast for Game 7. I found a tutorial online on how to make a newspaper clipping in Photoshop and used it to make this art piece out of Gildedtongue's story. Thanks for the article, GT!

Granted, I'd like to know how the FBA got in my head.
I don't have furry dreams, not of my characters, or other characters, or professional ones.
I don't have sports dream. Just not all that interested.
But I've had two FBA dreams, one the night before game 7 came out, and one last night. *shakes fist*

Heheh, Oh. I see 5V5. OK. Well everything depends on people. There are a lot of bad soccer fans (they use aggression to show of) but most of real fans of the sport hold them in contempt. We have nice word for such dorks - 'kibol' or 'ptasi mozdzek'. Everybody knows that they are stupid and they don't have got any idea what soccer is for. They go to the match and make mess. I hate them.... They went to Belfast to fight with the Irish people so they made some of them enemies of my country. The Irish think that we want to hurt them or something. That's all because what the soccer muggers were doing there.
But majority of Polish people love the soccer and we enjoy the match just like other people everywhere in the world.

I'll admit we are rough and are to blame of the origin of Football riots but WE cannot beat the rest of Europe. Trust me when I say this you need to watch on YouTube the Polish when they go to football mathces Infact. Would you like a YouTube link? >.=.o Hope Im not bothering you with this..

Thanks for sharing. Cracovia or Wisla it doesn't matter. The bad supporters don't know anything about the soccer and they cause riots. That sucks. Not all polish supporters behave this way. There are matches in my neighbourhood. We have two soccer stadiums (in my village) and nothing like this ever happened.
It's all rioting AFTER the game, though. So I have a hard time connecting it with the sporting events. I think the riots that have happened lately like in Los Angeles after the Lakers win were simply angry people finding an excuse to riot.
On the other hand, I understand fights always break out in the stands during Oakland Raiders games. But they're tiny fights compared to what you see at European sporting events.

It's not bad at all. For one thing, sporting events in the States are so safe, most audiences have lots of children in them. Going to games is a family event in the States, and that's an important stream of revenue for the NFL, NBA and MLB, so you know there's no chance they'll ever allow their games to get that violent.
Also, I don't think it ever would get anything like it is in Europe since the States competes against itself. We all speak the same language, use the same money, salute the same flag, so the rivalry can never be as passionate. For as much as Boston and New York might hate each other during a Red Sox/Yankees game, neither city has ever or would ever burn down the other.
