Interesting. It's short but you're able to tell quite a lot of this futuristic world... nano something, prosthetic limbs, eye implant, bio-scanner... little details, but so able to paint the picture for the reader. I was a sort of disappointed when I got to the end though, as this little piece is awfully short. Just when I felt I was inside the story, it ended. Still, I enjoyed the ride, how short it might have been.

Good work, I enjoyed reading this. Very nice little piece, there could be more to tell in this same setting.

Actually the story came about from a freakish government idea I had that I found a bit scary but perversely consistent with itself. Then I realized that it would be an amazingly good government for a Cyberpunk type setting and came up with a lot of background before I knew it.

I actually did have more ideas for it, but didn't want to end up with like a 10 page prompt post. So I stopped after a single page and figured I would keep working on it and post the whole thing later.

and there ya go... I ended up doing an entire book cuz of the prompts...
