Furnal Equinox 2018 - Day 2
Crikey, this guy was a real treat to meet at last!
This dude's well-known for his gentle nature and overall positive attitude, sending positive vibes in tweets and random vids! If you've never watched him before, do it now.
Being on Twitter, I happened to notice a couple of days before the con that he made a certain tweet talking about how "fine" is translated when responding to the quesiton of "how are you?" https://twitter.com/Sunny_Dingo/sta.....60198439718913 Intrigued, I replied asking if I could share my two cents about that, to which he didn't mind me sending him a Direct Message (DM). I basically shared with him nutshells of what was going on at my end as far as family, but I made sure to put a positive spin on everything to show that I wasn't entirely whiny or anything.
The day I left for the hotel, he replied to my DM, thanking me for my two cents. He was happy that I was still pressing forward, adding that we all have our obstacles to overcome no matter how it may look compared to others. That dude really made happy when he wrote that. Very empathetic.
But what made me lose my sugar-honey-iced-tea was finding out that he was coming to FE! I had no idea he was even gonna be there! I heard he'd be at the YouTube panel, but I found out later on that he got delayed and would be there for Day 2.
Long story short, it was a case of phone tag - well, Twitter tag anyway, lmao - back and forth till I eventually saw him leaving the Game Room and immediately called out to him! The moment I blurted out, "it's me, Leo," he recognised who I was instantly and was glad to have found me! I was so happy! And he once again told me how he respected that I was helping take care of my family and how we all have to keep pressing on no matter the obstacle. I mean I wish I knew word-for-word what he said, but the whole con happened so fast, I wouldn't know what to tell ya.
I'm so thankful I got a photo with this shining example of positivity! Australia's very lucky to have such a caring guy to help spread positive vibes! And Sunny, if you're reading this, continue being the awesome and outstanding dingo you are! I hope to see you again someday!

This photo you see here is one of many photos I've taken from this year's
with the fancy theme choice of "Livin' Large."
This year in particular was my seventh furry convention I've ever attended.
