This is awesome think-work going into the thoughts, there.

...I'm 40+ and I'm still picking up lots of 'hints' through fleeting interaction with others, how people "are supposed to work".
To say 'on the outside, looking in' would feel too pretentious, as I certainly am on the inside with all the rest of the world. I just don't know fully yet, and probably never will, how to properly interact to be 'one of us'.
