Okies, so I decided to let y'all see what my cloud lair looks like from a top-down view. All rooms are numbered, so lemme take ya on the guided tour! ^.=.^
1- This is the main foyer and entrance. Nothing special here, just a grand opening in the cloud that serves as the main method of entrance and exit to and from my lair. Mostly it's just to create a sense of grandeur and to avoid overloading someone walking on magically reinforced cloud for the first time. :3
2- The guest bedrooms. Here we have 5 seperated miniature 'rooms' walled off by cloud-stuff, each with beds of various sizes (two with only 1 large bed for couples) and a few empty drawers and other base amenities. These rooms are fairly small and are only for my humanoid guests. I put it there on purpose to keep the humanoids as far away from where I sleep and have my hoard as possible. No offence, but I trust other dragons a LOT more. For my humanoid mates and pets, simple 'rooms' can be fashioned as needed from the cloud in my own nesting room. Because them, I trust. <3
Also, this is the first room where you'll notice a symbol similar to a bracket '['. These are fireplaces, which are necessary for my humanoid guests as the ambient temperature in my lair is usually around -5 Farenheit at almost all times. But as the fire kept in these is the result of a specially enhanced continual flame spell, the rooms these structures occupy are always a normal comfortable room temperature (around 55-70 degrees).
3- The kitchen/dining area. This large section of my lair is dedicated to an enormous kitchen staffed by a servant horde (complete arcane 121, creates 2d6+10 unseen servants, see PH 297 for spell description) that takes instruction from guests and residents in the form of food orders and then completes them to the best of its ability. The dining area has room for 26 medium (human-sized) humanoid guests at the tables, as well as 3-4 dragons of no greater than Huge size (or 2 gargantuan or 1 colossal) at the large nest-like ovoid to the side.
Keep in mind, an unseen servant may not use the craft (cooking) skill to create dishes with a DC higher than 10. While this allows for coffee or even beef stew, asking the servants for fillet of snapper en papillote may be a bit out of their league. However *cough*, I personally have 9 ranks in craft (cooking) and an Int of 20 (or so says the Monster Manual, for a total craft check of +14), and so can take up the role of soux chef if need be, commanding the unseen servants to do simple tasks such as weighing ingredients or chopping up some mirepoix while I do the actuall assembly and cooking... though I only do this for rather important guests... *is stuck-up*
4- My personal Library. Here can be found many volumes not available anywhere else, and I treasure it with almost the same fervor as I treasure my hoard. With 2 fireplaces and seating for 8 humanoids (5 at the study desk and 3 in front of a fire place and small coffee table), guest find themselves rather comfortable here. The shelves to the left also contain a fully-stocked alchemical section, as well as various glass and metal alchemical equipment sufficient to set up a fully functional alchemy lab on the study desk.
...which can be rather irksome when wizard visitors decide they'd rather stay in here than in the guest bedrooms and end up drooling on my rather expensive chairs... *frowns*
...^.=.^ Mordenkainen was real cool about it tho. He even invented a cantrip called 'Mordenkainen's Cotton Mouth' that prevented him from drooling. <3 Really nice guy... >.=.> So, um... yeah. If ur in one of my nice chairs and I see you starting to nod off, don't be surprised when your mouth suddenly dries up...
5- My personal nest room. A large but rather unremarkable room, the only notable features here are the large nest (a comfortable resting place for even up to 3 huge sized dragons . It's represented by that blood-cell-shaped circle), and the large golden hoop supporting a crystal ball upon which opalescent colors swirl and dance. A few of my more avid readers are going wide-eyed right now in recognition and smiling self-satisfied smiles. <3 For the rest of you, shame shame. Of course, various detritus in the form of books and papers is usually littering the floor at almost all times, but I DO (very) occasionally clean it up.
This is also the first room in which you will encounter false walls. These are squigly lines on the map, with one or two arrows running through them. In 'reality', these are seemingly ordinary sections of cloud wall that open up to accomodate anyone that speaks my true name (the command word) while facing them, before closing back up. They come in both one-way and two-way, with the arrows on the map indicating which is which. You will also notice that there is a one-way false wall leading out of my nest chamber. This is a secret escape in case something gets into my lair that I can't handle (unlikely with my CR of 31, but hey you never know). The command word for this wall is different from the others, and is the draconic word for 'flee' ("osvith").
Of course, since it's all cloud, you don't NEED to say the command word, you can simply just plow right through and it'll close up behind you... *grins* However, I'd make sure you get just the right spot if I were you. Plowing through a regular wall will lead you into unsolidified cloud and - unless you're a silver dragon with cloudwalking like me - a VERY long fall. And it's for this reason that I purposely shifted the openings on the map a bit off from where they actually are. :3 So haw haw. Good luck trying to get into my hoard without my true name.
6- The guest nesting rooms. The entire room is actually a pair of nest rooms and a small hallway leading from my nest room to the main foyer. Both rooms are very spacious, and are designed to comfortably lair 1 dragon and possibly a portion of their hoard (which I am of course always courteous enough never to touch, no matter how enticing). While both rooms are rather big, however, the one on the left is meant only for dragons of huge size or smaller. The right one may accomodate up to 2 huge dragons or one gargantuan dragon.
7- The nursery. Here is where any eggs I have, erm, fertilized are usually laid, as well as where they hatch and where the resultant young are reared <3. There's a section of particularly soft cloud in the southern portion where the eggs are kept (and laid, if possible), a large boomerang-shaped nest off to the right where the older ones sleep, and a small bookshelf in the right hand corner stocked with all manner of children's books, where I (or their mother) teach them how to read and write. *smiles* And sometimes for fun I'll make the center of the room exceptionally bouncy, so they can play around on a trampoline of cloud. <333 They're so cute when they do that <33333
This room also has a one-way exit to the hallway by the guest nestrooms, and a two-way portal to my hoard room. When I designed the place, I figured my hoard should be connected to my greatest treasures <3 (although that door is specially modified so that only dragons of juvenile age or older can use it. there's dangerous stuff in my hoard, and it would NOT be a good idea to let a wyrmling get it's claws on a talisman of the sphere)
8- My Hoard (and yes, I can hear you capitalize the 'H' when you say it). This is perhaps the most grand room in my entire lair, and also perhaps the least-often seen. Here lays all my accumulated wealth over the years, and what a grand sight it is. Mountains of gold and silver lay gleaming with gems and interspersed with objects you'd expect to find in an affluent museum, as well as several powerful magical items. Almost like a red, I can pretty much tell the exact contents of my hoard at all times and can instantly tell if an item even as insignifigant as 1 silver piece has been removed, without even having to be there (though if it's honestly just a few silver being taken, I'm more likely to be interested as to why someone broke into my hoard just to take a few coins than to be mad). And with such knowlege, I can confidently rattle off the EXACT contents of my hoard to you (CR 31, triple standard. As a mature adult silver dragon I have a natural CR of 18, plus 12 levels of elemental master and 1 level of sorcerer for a total caster level of 10th. I do not yet have a familiar. ):
Coins:
185 platinum pieces
10,432 gold pieces
95,680 silver pieces
0 copper pieces (I had them all changed to silver)
Gems:
10 Lapis Lazuli gems (worth a total of 95 gp)
1 Malachite gem (worth 11 gp)
4 Moonstones (total 260 gp)
2 Bloodstones (total 100 gp)
3 Silver pearls (total 1,000 gp)
1 Jet (120 gp)
2 Black pearls (total 1,000 gp)
1 Alexandrite gem (300 gp)
1 Star ruby (1,100 gp)
Art objects:
A bejeweled golden crown fit for a huge-sized creature, with a portion carved out of the back to make room for a dragon's neck frill (worth 7,000 gp. No, my ego is not THAT huge. I ganked this from a green dragon I caught trying to rule over a bunch of wood elves as their king... ...though I might wear it time to time... when I'm alone... ...>.=.< SHUT UP, STOP JUDGING ME!!!)
An embroidered silver and sable mantle with moonstones sewn into the hem (worth 2,200 gp. Worn in human form when meeting with other arcane casters... Perhaps I'll enchant it to be a cloak of charisma one day...)
3 Masterpiece paintings (total 4,500 gp. One is a long-dead king. The second is a random bard seranading a full tavern. The third is of a much younger me and my old - now long dead - rider, a human knight/dragonrider named Zeek)
A fire opal pendant with gold chain (1,100 gp)
Aaaaaand 14 other art objects totalling 6,560 gp in worth. I'm sorry, but I'm not fabricating another 14 of these fucking things, especially when all of them combined aren't even worth my crown.
Magic items:
The sword on a stand in the upper-left corner of the room is Soulstorm, my own personal blade. It's a +2 shocking burst thundering ghost touch longsword, that becomes a mere +2 longsword in any other hands but mine. It also gives me a +1 to initiative as long as I have it sheathed due to the effect of my most recent bonding ritual - the ritual of Honor (which gave it its ghost touch property. See DMG2 pg234 for rules on bonded magic items. I decided to have the ritual of honor apply to me even though I'm not lawful because I do still have a very deep sense of honor). I take it with me everywhere in humanoid form. (worth 72,315 gp)
The crappilly drawn quadrupedal armor on the stand in the lower left is my Dragonarmor of Invincibility (huge sized. see Draconomicon pg 82). I rarely if ever put it on, but when I do I'm a goddamn powerhouse. I get an additional +12 to AC, and all my natural weapons are treated as having a +5 enhancement bonus. (worth 379,950 gp. It's the most expensive thing in my hoard)
The humanoid armor in the upper right stand is my old rider's Dragonrider Armor (Draconomicon 118). This +1 full plate is made from my own cast-off scales, and offers cold resistance 10, a +5 on ride checks made in conjunction with me, and instantly activates a featherfall spell if the wearer falls more than 10 feet. If forced to go out armored, I usually wear this. (worth 26,150 gp, but to me it's utterly priceless.)
The strange structures in the stand to the lower right are my Jaws of the Dragon (Draconomicon 83). These fit over my teeth and instantly conform to the size and shape of my mouth (or the mouth of any other dragon who wears them), improving the damage of my bite attack by one step (from 2d8 to 4d6). I only ever put these in when also wearing my Dragonarmor, cuz otherwise I look damn foolish. XD (worth 40,000 gp)
On a pedestal in the center of my hoard room sits a cloudy grey sphere with constant winds swirling around it (though these never extend beyond a few inches from the sphere, and never affect my hoard). This is my Hurricane's Eye, the special device that creates hurricane-force winds around my entire lair, although the eye of the hurricane only extends 80 feet from the sphere. However, using the winds as pre-existing weather conditions, I can use my control winds ability to create an actual hurricane around my lair, adjusting the size of the storm and eye as I see fit. However, my lair is always kept stationary over a remote section of ocean for just this reason, since anyone caught in the storm could potentially be killed. And that wouldn't be very fun. (worth 75,000 gp)
On a stand to the northern end of my hoard room lays an ash staff with glittering silver inlay. This is my staff of healing (DMG 244), which is used only in dire emergencies (I'm loathe to use up charges on such a mundane task when I could simply have a potion or spell do the same) such as mortal wounds or a rapidly degenerating poison victim. I almost never use it on diseased creatures, preffering instead to use a special ointment I also have (that comes much cheaper, no less). However, there are still sadly only 32 charges remaining. (remaining worth: 17,760. And each charge expended thereafter reduces the value by a further 555 gp)
And the small loop sitting on a stand near the lower middle is my Talisman of the Sphere. Wrested that little baby from a nutso sorcerer trying to plow a fucking Sphere of Annihilation through a village. And in broad daylight, no less! In an area I was KNOWN to be guarding at the time! >.=.< Well, I don't suppose they called him 'Kelthor the Mad' for nothing. :3 Though I suppose now a more appropriate name would be 'Kelthor the Flat'. XD I squished that sumbitch like a pancake. Used the talisman to direct the sphere into the sky and then used launch item to chuck a rod of cancellation at it from a safe distance :3 Aaaaaand, the talisman was just so pretty I kinda snuck back to my lair with it after the congratulatory ceremony ^.=.^". Hehe...
Other magic items I got buried somewhere in my hoard but was too lazy to find again include a ring of minor energy resistance (cold) and a potion of Cure Moderate Wounds. I also have a 3/5 full bottle of Kheogtom's Ointment sitting near the nest room entrance, in case of diseased visitors... but those with STD's aren't given use of it. 1- it's your own damn fault you got it. 2- I am NOT applying that shit. XD Sorry, but just no.
Well, that's me lair! ^.=.^ Oh, and, watch out for the hurricane when you leave. It's a doosey.
And Yaxerins, you might wanna hurry up to the nursery - you know the password, I believe. I'll be there with the eggs shortly. <3

Your Welcome, This is the only side view sample I have online: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2888976/
it has a story that I made up while drawing it, but I forgot what it was.

that is something I had to import into the world. ^.=.^
I actually drew a few bases for for the eragon series. One for the top of Farthen Dur (VTOL landing pad), and a Artillery base west of the Burning Plains. The next will be a airport in the Hadarac Desert.
I bet this sounds crazy.

I don't have a mate, but I'm a breeder :3
I actively seek out in-heat females to breed, when I get... >.=.> er, playful...
^.=.^" But, cuz I hate the idea of knocking a female up and just leaving it at that, I keep the little ones and offer to raise them.
I hate human kids with a passion, but a wyrmling is just too adorable to say no to <3

Hah, a playful breeder that is! and seemingly a responsible one, too? But I just don't understand one thing: if you impregnate a female, stay with her and be a good father of the hatchlings until they grow up, how can you not have any... special feelings for the mother and desire to, you know, stay with her even longer? Gee, for Paladine's sake, you must have broken a lot of female's adoring hearts! and just as you said, you are truly playful!
Alright I know I was too curious. Please don't be mad at me, sir. I kinda feel that you're thinking about biting me or turning me into an ice statue... well I just want to tell you that you have an awesome lair and it matches an awasome silver dragon like you.
