Those feathers in the headdress belong to a phoenix chicken (well, a rooster, actually ). Somebody brought her a couple in exchange for services (you have no idea how difficult it is to obtain fancy chickens like that for trolls who in general don't really hang around humans a lot, so they were an exceptionally precious gift :P ), and she has a flock of them now.
