"Alan Reeves, an unusual and quiet soul, has shuffled through the last three years of his life in constant regret. Three Years...a great friend who shared a similar uniqueness, one that grew towards a romantic relationship, disappeared off the face of the earth leaving behind only plaguing nightmares of despair and torture. It took persistence from his childhood doctor and a dependence on medication to quell the nightmares yet left Alan empty longing to either move past the troubles of the past or seek answers for his vanished friend.

The answer came, but with it resurfaced the nightmares brought to life.

Led to the deprecate seemingly abandoned town of Silent Hill Alan will need to carefully traverse it's dark corners and twisted unworldly labyrinth to uncover the truth of his friend's disappearance, avoiding or defeating the monstrosities born from the nightmares of the past (some even from his own) and the unholy monk that seems to control them.

Perhaps he will have to rely on his "uniqueness" to survive...lest his fears warps his animal side into a untamed beast.

The above summary will hopefully change when I come up with a better synopsis. This poster was created during a time I was working out the ideas for a Silent Hill fanfic based around some of my characters, though they wouldn't be the exact same. The Tabby and Nikki you see in the image are Fafic alternative versions with their own backstory (though elements bled into future OC ideas in future COMs...Nikki's the most borrowed but with a slightly happier out come). I actually do have a Prologue posted on my dA page...incomplete but at least I started something. Alas; this ended up getting stuck in the Pile of Projects to Continue like so many others due to the extravagant ambition I had.

The summary doesn't go into it quite well, but the "uniqueness" referenced is the fact that Alan and Nikki are different (not-human), but they aren't always stuck as a Cat or Fox. They are considered a Nekomata and a Kitsune giving them the ability to shapeshift into their animal forms while maintaining human lives. For Nikki she was born into it with her Father being a Kitsune, so she embraces that part of her. For Alan though; his feline side doesn't manifest until he turns 13 and with no knowledge of this heritage he treats his "uniqueness" as a deformity believing he is a freak; a monster. It took meeting Nikki through their dreams and her helping Alan control his shapeshifting and animal instincts that he managed to partly accept it...though after Nikki disappears he goes through a minor regression not having anyone like him to feel comfortable expressing his animal side with.

If anyone is interested in learning more about this story let me know. I do have a decent log of ideas I came up with including an ending...just never got to writing it >__<
