You don't need ten eyes, surely you can behold and judge with... Hmmm. ONE.
( I am very into this. No, no fooling. I have a character who I-- Well to get to the point, he's just a PERFECT LITTLE ANGEL and wing hands and aaargh this is so cool, I'm definitely going to be using your illustration as a milestone in designing my own "What if his perfect dogma were to turn violent?" sort of angel design and THIS ONE IS WAY COOL. So, thanks for the synchronicity, pal. ♥ )

With the proper shadow to cast light on, they can be particularly effective as a narrative tool. I mean I do adore Whiz from Dragon Ball Super for just that very reason. A "perfect" subject just needs the right kind of master to serve. When your god is as an angel is, then angels become horrifying in their vindication. Demons get such a bad rap, what with the whole unchecked vox populi of religion using them as the perfect target dummies. Yet so often the concept that loathing demons is what provides them their power...
Pardon me for getting winded, I am a huge fan of anthropology. Study of all things people, not just humans. Theological symbolism is so profound. Yak yak yak yak there I go some more. Hehehe
Hey, you get what you get! You hit a bullseye with me. It's hard not to be impressed.
In fact I had only just started to design clothing for my personas, and I just got to my bird (heretofor "Jasqueath"). I knew I absolutely wanted a constriction- something very TIGHT around the neck to give the impression of smothering impulses. I made it a very thick set- excuse me for being so bold- "halo" that sat on the trapezius muscles. I used the extra slack to fill out the entire shape of it with eyes. But the "eyes" are black ♦-shape cut stones. Five smaller, with one large one in the center of the collar bones.
In fact... Let me show you, and not tell.
