I've got some great shots without the spider that play with that "draped" look, but those will wait at least until I get some zzzzz's in. Early morning, fog, and a field. It's out there for everyone, just gotta go out at the right time. Heh, set your alarm or be a night-person, choice is yours!

Hee! Well then you should definitely not watch that movie, "Microcosmos". Seeing bugs and spiders scaled to the (relative) size of cars and houses is not for you!

Personally I love spiders. They don't bite or sting (at least the ones around here), they eat other bugs, and those webs oh those webs!

Fffff yes, but the way they crawl and bite people and kill people and.... *shudders*

True, it's smart to be scared of them in places like Australia. Fortunately we've none of the nasty ones up here.

I'm in America and still afraid of 'em. I'll still freak out from a defanged tarantula.(sp?)

Absolutely fantastic film. I read somewhere that just developing the cameras took over two years and millions of dollars, but don't quote me on that.

Woot! I remember you showing this to me. I think it's a great contrasting shot with those beads (wow!) and the sharpness of it leaves a lot to explore.

I wish I could go deeper. I wish I could be the giant microscope and get right in there, see the optical effects deep down in the micro-world.

*Horsie has a brain pith* Oh I'd love to see what's happening at the microscopic level in this picture or any place this is happening.

We've seen a lot of stuff on tv that is in there but nothing like that! I'd be tickled to look at how light is affected in a strand of web and another with a few molecules of water it passes through. Oooo now that's small, up close and very intimate with your subject.

It would be nice to get an adapter for the microscope... *sigh* Things to do.

This is true, and these things are rather modest. Really though the scope needs a few lenses replaced but those wouldn't be too much. After that it's just a simple adapter for one of the eye-pieces.

if you do get something like that together you'll have to give me a sneak peak of the first few photos eh. :)
