I don't post much anymore, but I've wanted to post this for years, this is an old song written and recorded maybe four, maybe five years ago? Certainly before a lot of my other stuff on here. There was a rougher version up briefly before I removed for reasons I won't go into.

Anyway, I've refrained from posting it cos of how much means to me personally, as I wrote this in a very dark place in my life. It is a song I'm very connected to emotionally and I've found it hard to share it. It's rough around the edges, particularly in the solo, but for me that just speaks a bit about where I was at the time of writing and recording it. I consider it an uplifting song, despite it being kinda dark in places.

My reluctance to post has also been compounded by the fact that as my skill with production developed I found myself more self conscious of the recording quality.

It has a very particular meaning to me, obviously it's without lyrics, but I won't share the meaning here, I don't want to interfere with any meaning you may find yourself in it (I'm not being pretentious haha it's just nice to leave the meaning open to interpretation sometimes).

It's time it got posted, and hopefully those of you who have stuck around in my protracted absence find this worth the wait!


Recorded using - Caparison 7 string for the electric guitar, can't remember the model of Bass, with an Axe-Fx Ultra for all the guitar effects and some kind of midi keyboard to play in the synths

I've had to compress this horribly to fit on here, hopefully not too bad!
