I keep seeing pictures of cute birdies here on FA and thought I would add some more in my own gallery here since I adore them so...

My mom pulled this out of a drawer in the living a couple days ago when we were rummaging around the house... I'd forgotten about it, but remembered doing it as a preliminary sketch for an art project in college that I had salvaged and colored... It's posted on my original DA gallery with a patterned background added in digitally, but looking at it after digging it up again, I think it looks better with just a plain background... Dunno, seems to enhance the colors of the birds in my opinion so that's why I re-scanned it in and just left it alone this time...

Bonus points to whoever can guess what species of lovebirds these three are...:'3
