closing in on 3 years this took me to bring it all together. When I was skimming through the brainstorming notes, read over part of my reply that said "Once we get the awesomeness organized I'll aim to have the piece done within a few days" HAH HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA until I started putting more and more and more detail into it and omg I struggled for a bit there wondering how I was gonna bring it all together and finish it. But this homie understands the artist lyfe and was super cool throughout this whole process so Satan bless their soul. <3

I think this is the most intricate and complex thing I've drawn like, ever. No joke haha

but like i just gotta say, I'm the kind of person who can tackle small projects no problem, but something big like this... well in the past, any big personal project I've started has never gotten further than that; i either lose interest. cant keep focusing on it, or i get stuck and don't know how to keep going with it. So this piece is kind of a triumphant "haha fuck you" to those tendencies, and I'm really proud of how this pic came together. I wasn't expecting the auction originally to go so well, so I put some high expectations on myself for this piece, and invested a lot of time, concentration, thought, detail, and perseverance into it.
