I can't help but feel I have seen this artistic style in a familiar form before, but at the same time I can't quite place my finger on where I experienced it; I'll just chalk this up to "artistic originality throwing me for a loop", except for that her ears keep reminding me of those of a Faellie from Neopets. Don't ask, long story.
Oh, and that the background reminds me of an oh-so-familiar Newgrounds layout.
I really like the coloration on this! The stark contrast actually helps in making it jump out at the viewer and though they can look a little wonky in shape, the smaller details are done quite nicely. I am quite saddened, however, that she does not have the color of iPod that I became the lucky owner of through a school lottery, the very sleek and sexy black version. :C
