Cold winds sweep across the land, sandstorms brew in the distance bringing forth random flashes of lightning. I think I can feel the sands between my webbings, this isn't right, yet I don't feel out of place.

We have been over run, Khemet is lost! We have to destroy Gate Complex!

I call and shout, but no one seems to hear me. I can't hear myself either, yet that feels alright. I see a familiar face beside me, it's Kyrie but she seems strange, but my mind brushes it aside.

General! We have to stop them before...

I cry out but my voice seems distance, it sounds loud, feels loud, yet I don't feel my lips are moving. My hands move on their own, seemingly to gesture. I could see the tip of Giza glow, light escaping from its tip and then explode in silence.

Wait! Stop! No!! What am I doing!? This magic isn't real!!! Please stop!!!

It's too late...

Zephyrius' eyes shot open, sitting up in a panic and gasping for breath. Frantically he reached for the curtain and pulled, almost ripping it only to be blinded by the sunlight.

Arghh...

Slowly, with an arm raised to shield his eyes he peeked outside and to his relief, Memphis was exactly as he had left it. Streets lined with crystal lights, crowded promenades bustling with life, buildings covered in greenscapes that rivals Babylon and the gleaming white Giza pyramid in the distance. It took a moment before realising that he wasn't in his own bed.

A quick look around to gather his bearings reveal an almost sterile room, amber bottles and rolls of fresh bandages sat in a shelf, a night stand with a small vase and fresh lavender flowers sat beside his white sheeted bed.

I'm...in the Temple of Healing?

Looking down at his body, finally realising he was naked and his many wounds wrapped in bandages. Zephyrius' sat there for a moment thankful he was saved.
