lilliosa this was a bit of a sad tale. Apparently Paypal went all spastic through no fault of her own and wouldn't let her access the payment I sent through for this, so we both ended up out of pocket. I offered to find some other method of payment so she wouldn't be 'punished' but she said no and did the commission anyway.
Above and beyond the call of duty. Lilliosa, thank you so much, you're an honorable lady and you have my utmost respect.

The Vanguard are big boys and girls, one day if Lilliosa ever gets a payment system up and working I'd love to get her to draw a full-body version in this style. Most of them are fairly arrogant, unpleasant and ill-tempered aliens, but there are a few that are more reasonable and approachable

Cool - I would be interested in knowing what you think one day when you've read them? And thank you, yes that was one of the themes I was really interested in exploring in the stories. That whole inter-relations between people and something that was very far from human.
I do have another story that I co-wrote with a friend of mine (
sharlin) that is actually something you could call almost 'furry'. It features a Vanguard and a Tauren from the WoW universe. Did it as a bit of sillyness and fun, but it actually came out quite well. Interested?

Wow, yeah, that was classy o'her! And I'll certainly agree with you on the "ghostly" and "haunting" part. That just leaves the question of whether or not this is a good smile or a bad smile.
Like a "Hi, howdy, good to see ya, can I sell ya some insurance?" smile or a "Oh boy! Dinner just walked in the door!" smile? Hard to tell.
... I think I'd risk it anyways. :P
