Clearly excited to see his new castle, here is the royal koopa, J.C. (Don't ask him what it stands for.)
One of the R&D heads of the Koopa Army, J.C. likes working with and building machines, outfitting his own henchmen with some of the latest tech. While he has great respect for King Bowser and especially Bowser Jr., for being able to come up with such complex machines, he is greatly irritated by Iggy Koopa of the Koopalings. (For a supposed genius, he hasn't really done much to show for it.) Rumor has it he's been experimenting with ways to turn organic creatures into robots, but J.C. has said nothing on this matter so far.
Random Tidbit: He likes wood sculpting in his spare time and is surprisingly good at it. That's what some of that tool belt is for.
(Maybe that's what he's smiling at, a wooden replica of his own castle.)
