Back then,the snakes sometimes appear around our house. There's one even appear in the closet when my sister opened. >.<

I was raised on a farm, seeing snakes happened a lot. Its hard on relatives when you have 3 kids that love the cuties, a father that likes them enough not to kill them, and a mother that really doesn't care either way. Only snake we would kill were the poisonous ones. Rattlesnakes were the usual recipients of death. My Aunt and Uncle both on my mothers side can't stand snakes and my grandfather is the type that just says, its a snake or a turtle... shoot the turtle and use a hoe to chop the snakes head off. Ahh so many stories of snakes at home.... I miss them...

I usually just pick them up and carry them as far away as I can.
This accomplishes the dual purpose of decreasing the chances it will return, and also getting me out of earshot of the frightened screeching of those who were too wussy to do it themselves.
