I haven't had wifi for three days because comcast inSISTEd that we replace our modem with a new, "faster" one. It said 20 minutes on the box. That was on Sunday. I nearly had an aneurysm this morning when we had a technician come in and fix everything...only to have it stOp wORkign ten minutes after he left. fml

Oh my goodness, that smile at the end gets me XD
We had out a old Modem out, out before all that Google fiber sensation went back out and our old chocky Modem they sold us for like 200$ was having out so many issues out and about after a couple years since it got obselated yet the provider was asking such a big sum out. A few years later it started going out and we wanted to upgrade our internet since they were locked out into a contract to pay $$$s monthly for sllloooow internet that even out in the middle of our little out off the road area was slow when they were offering lightning fast speeds 5x-10x faster, for a literal fifth of the cost. We got a new modem and router set up off amazon out for like 50+20$ [Shopped around, not a cheap chinese junk mind you, but we got lucky with a Nice fast model with support for up to 400 Mbps from a third party] with like support and high penetrating bands out. But then they unplugged it and put the old one back in since we found out the error with the modem. It was blocking itself through the firewall from installing it's own updates lol, and they unplugged the new one back out and put the old one back in since it was more familiar to them haha. So in the end wasn't out for much, but that's out our story!
