Interesting work, in fact, i must admit this is quite stunning, your pop coloring style automatically reminds me of Erró, with that delirious touch peter saul has with cartoon characters, but your art is depleted of that glam aspect in the choice of colors. in fact, yours have a visual brutality in the lines that gives the subject all the consistency. that blue dragon in closeup, the mouth open to the left may represent many things, and i , for one, imagine that could be the ultraliberalism. the schizophrenia of a society filled of pop culture through mass consumption at all degree, all that little world runing in all directions to dig the past. the war? but probably also the countless victims of our blind consumer's society towards the rest of the world. Bernard Rancillac used to illustrate quite a lot concerning this subject but never really showing the real authors.
finally this piece reflects us like a mirror. this blue dragon; this monster is us. this is why many people will certainly find this canvas provocating, or even aggressive. this is good, this is the goal of art!
