I can organize many things and love things to be tidey and elegant.....
But I don't always succed *blush*
Yeah this is my downstairs "lab"
Its really more a workshop with a few chemicals thrown in here and there.
I am a little messy but I'm working on it

Quite a few actually, thats why it gets so messy
Oh but there has been one lately that gave me a couple interesting experiances, it is a little bit of a long story but it was really interesting.
You see I needed some iron oxide for something I was working on so what I did Was I made a solution of various salts and some other stuff and put two small clumps of steel wool in it. Lastly I tried to speed up the rusting by sticking two old nails into the steel wool and used them to run some electric current through it from a small nine volt battery.
At first it didn't seem to do much except turn from purple to a dusky pink. But then I noticed something when I picked one of the wool clumps up, When I crumpled it I thought I felt it get warmer. I then left it in there longer and when I took the wool out the second time it felt normal, then I crumpled and squeezed it, It got so hot I had to throw it back into the mixture! I had formed some sort of crystal lattace on the steel wool that when broken released heat.
So that was pretty neat but not as cool as what happened next. I made another batch after that one was done but I had a odd thought and put some magnets under the contaner, When I closed the circet the solution began to swirl a little, I had an idea of why it moved but I wasn't sure. So I opened and closed the circet a few times and Whenever I closed the circet the mixture would move and when ever I opened the circet the mixture would stop moving so I knew it wasn't just the wind or something. Next I tested to see if maybe it was just one side getting warmer and the other cooler causing it to move.
I removed the magnets and tried it again, nothing happened!
It was then I knew that my original thought was right!
I had made a LIQUID ELECTRIC MOTER! :VERY HAPPY:
so that was really fun!

Too cool, Falcon! You never cease to amaze me with your scientific knowledge.
Considering your discovery, I have got to ask if you have any future plans to experiment with the concept of a liquid electric motor? I don't know much about chemical reactions and that sort of thing, but it does sound like you could develop a couple of interesting things based on such a concept.
I look forward to hearing about your further, scientific exploits. Keep up the great work! :)
