[Short story I wrote to go with drawing]
I pulled into that one empty spot in the lot. When I step out I hear someone yelling, apparently I had taken his parking spot. I swore I didn’t see him so figured he was just lying to get spot. I walk into the business to get some shopping done. I was feeling a little bad that I might have taken someone’s spot but there were other spots and I was going in and out.
While walking through the store I kept noticing glances towards my direction. I ignored them as I continued shopping. Then I heard a little girl giggle pointy at me telling her mom “look at those funny ears” her mom pulled her away. I ignored the child because kids are unfiltered and would have no second thoughts saying what’s on their minds. I was getting anxiety from all the whispers and stares. I finally decided to look at my reflection in a mirror.
I expected to see nothing wrong but I was incorrect. I looked at my reflection and saw I now sported these huge ears. I touched them and felt my hands touching them. They were real. I looked back at the crowded now staring. Whispering and muttering. Some had taken their phones out and started recording me. I wanted to run but as soon as I did I felt my spine tingle followed by a loud ripping sound. My pants had completely ripped apart from my huge tail. There was a gasp from the crowd.
I covered myself with my hands best I could. Then there was another ripping sound as my shoes gave way from my large new feet. I was becoming a kangaroo. I was transforming in front of everyone. I just covered my face. I can feel my face stretching out and forming into a muzzle.
Then strangely I felt my hair growing. It grew longer and longer. I could see it now, changing from back to red. I was puzzled until I looked at my ripped shirt. My chest expanding made light work if my shirt. The new kangaroo pouch was also now visible. I was becoming a female kangaroo with some human features. I touched my long hair and tired to walk away but found it difficult. It felt so weird and I was so embarrassed. Then the man from earlier walked into the front of the crowed. Now that he was closer I could hear his Australian accent. “You make a mighty fine flyer now don’t cha?” “You won’t be needing a car to get around now huh?” I stared at him just embarrassed and unable to say anything.
I was able to hop away from everyone as they stared and the man had a huge grin. I hopped back to my car and figured there was no point. I just hopped away. I learned my lesson; never take anyone’s parking spot.

I LOVE what you've done here. I've always had a soft spot when it comes to kangaroos. The story is nice. Adding a little depth into the sensations would do wonders, as it makes the story more about the feeling of transforming rather than mostly visualizing it.
Great work! I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
