They were closing in on all sides ... perfect. We'd been carefully corralling all the Hive in this damn Hellmouth for the past two days. How do you take out several thousand hive with two guardians and limited ammo? You get them in a line and unleash fiery hell upon those cave dwelling bastards. That's exactly what we did. Right when the Hive thought they had us, their Wizards coming to the front lines to drain out Light, that's when we sprang our trap.

I gathered all my burning hatred for the Hive and every last scrap of Light left in my body. I focused that raw destructive energy, barely keeping it contained in my hands, until it took the shape I wanted ... my Golden Gun. Together, Tommy and I raised our trump cards. We held our weapons high for all of those minions of darkness to see.

A deafening shot, a blinding swing. Moments later silence filled the vast chamber. The Hive that had hunted us, that had so eagerly fallen into our trap, were gone. We had what we came to acquire.
