This is my persona Devi. Inspired by the Petite "Bandit Queen" who sought to avenge those who were abused and degraded. Revered as a here to the weak and the poor she was though to be the incarnation of the Hindu Goddess Durga.

Comments: I created this persona because my fear of not being good enough or reliable. I wish I had more hands to do more things and I wish I had more eyes to look at things from more perspectives. Some times I do get fixated which limits my view. That's why there is a uneven number of eyes for those two instances of being observant and fixated. My eagerness to please and to be helpful leads to others taking advantage and taking kindness as weakness. I made her appear soft and fluffy with small body size because that is how i am seen, small and kitten like. Even though I seem sweet I also can stand up for myself and cut deep with viscous words. I red zone when people bully others or are unfair. I also feel it is much scarier to be eaten than destroyed. This is why under Devi's mask there is a mouth similar to Alexandrite https://i.pinimg.com/originals/be/3.....0b8882266f.png Thick piercing, sheering teeth perfect for ripping apart and consuming prey.

When I made Devi, she came to me as I analyzed myself. I had no idea what to call her or what thief she was to be based on or anything. After I completed her I looked and looked and stumbled across Phoolan Devi. After reading a little bit about her I discovered her relation to the Hindu Goddess Durga. I am not versed in the Hindu Pantheon and was pleasantly surprised to find that the goddess had multiple sets of arms and was related to the Tiger which my persona Devi also sports two sets of arms, feline characteristics and tiger stripes. I see Devi being much like her. Durga She is the warrior goddess, whose mythology centers around combating evils and demonic forces that threaten peace, prosperity and dharma of the good. She is the fierce form of the protective mother goddess, willing to unleash her anger against wrong, violence for liberation and destruction to empower creation.
