I made this one a while ago when I was into the game stories I still love that game and this idea just stood out to me. Old caption below

A hero who does not wear power as well as he thought he would.

Upon using the artifact Reynardo was surprised to find himself swelling with power! ... Literally! It would seem that the gem had overloaded his gauntlet and his body could barely contain it's terrible might! As Reynardo struggled to come to terms with his ponderous predicament, he began to wonder where he'd gone wrong. Looking back it was almost certainly that dirty traitor Lapino's fault ... somehow... either way he supposed that he had not technically been lied to...
"They did say it would contain a power beyond imagination... and I certainly hadn't imagined anything like this..."
Reynardo mused in a disgruntled manner.
"If I could only get this blasted gem out of my Gauntlet!"
He cried! However unfortunately for our power hungry hero this outburst attracted the attention of some of the ravens nearby.
"er... heheh... I don't suppose you could help a fellow who's down on his luck out of a fix could you, my fine feathered friends?"
The Ravens crowed with laughter as they closed in on their formerly formidable foe.
Reynardo had a sinking feeling this was not about to go well for him...)
