It was a bit of a surprise to Koar when he received the invitation to Kazan's for a holiday meal. The corpulent wolf frequented the habit of hoarding food for himself and often loathed cooking for anyone but himself. With an invitation so rare, however, how could the jackal say no to the generosity? Arriving just on time and dressed for a causal dinner, Koar was only mildly surprised to see the his friend quite relaxed in his lounge wear, the hoodie and pajamas obviously more than a few sizes too small and in desperate need of replacement.
Seated with his friend, Koar was taken aback by the sheer volume of consumables around them. Hams and turkey, side dishes galore of casseroles, breads and potatoes. Even a healthy selection of desserts in the corner, not a single tradition was missing. This was a feast meant for many and the jackal had doubts that their combined stomachs would be enough to hold everything before them. With the jackal in his startled state, Kazan took the opportunity to load up the first of many plates, leaning in close to his friend with an unspoken offering to ensure the jackal would have his fill.
