The feet look like the low mass, high strength, low maintenance and harsh conditions model.

The paws, likewise, but seem like they may not be ideal for the task at hand. Ah well, always gotta try these things and see what you can do in a known environment, eh?

(Having just spent 4 months with an arm in a sling, I have become conscious of how much 'fun' tasks like laundry can be without the right 'tools'. ) .

The idea is that these "simpler" prosthetics require less battery power and therefor last longer between charges. The downside of course is that they are less capable and/or require much more skill to use.

She often tests out new designs to gauge their effectiveness. So it may be entirely intentional that she is trying to do laundry with them instead of a set that has full hands.

how did the poor bunny come to need the Prosthesis in the first place?

Short version of her backstory: Car accident as a teen. Rollover on a bridge in the winter, seatbelt broke and was thrown from the vehicle. Landed on the icy river below and wasn't found until many hours later. Frostbite meant that she lost her ears and limbs. Limb regrowth failed so she had to be fitted with cybernetic prostetics.

Thank you, that works, though I have to admit I did not even consider her ears were prosthetic. tats can be applied...
