I like his stance and the poses of his hands, nice work.

I'm sort of curious about the story behind the mini-comic, then again I maybe I already know and forgot.

But honestly you don't need to draw a comic, as I like using my imagination. And that pose makes my imagination tingle as to what is causing him to react that way.

Well, the both of you asked about combat poses, and this other idea I've been wanting to do has been bugging me, so it just so happened to be a great match.... too bad I didn't/don't have the time for it.
Picture this: You and Deaki standing back to back, looking at the viewer, throwing punches so fast it's all a blur with the caption, "1000 HITS!"
....a blur of regular punches and fists, of course, but also have a bunch of the fists in weird poses and shapes.... the hang-loose gesture, the metalhead symbol, the "I love you" sign, thumbs up, both of you doing bunny ears behind eachother, the peace sign... that sort of thing. ^-^
....maybe for the 10,000 hits pic.
