I've been trying to write the soundtrack to a game project for ages, but inspiration strikes when it wants - instead this fell out of Modplug after about two hours this morning.
It's a version of the boss music from Caverns of Zeux, the first of the Megazeux series by Gregory Janson and the only game creation system I've tried that I've never finished anything at all in. You can download it here (and you'll need the Megazeux EXE from the same site).
I was a bit surprised how much the B-section sounded like recent Stratovarius.

Thanks! I found the original music, it plays throughout this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2SebjOrBp8 - I always thought its soundtrack stood out, and it was actually the game that got me into MOD writing in the first place, so I've got it to thank for where I am now :)
