I have nothing against the disabled, handicapped or war vets, but when they make more than I do in an hour just by holding out their hand and looking pathetic, I have no respect for panhandlers.
I work hard for the meager earnings I get to turn around and hand it over to someone to support their drug or drinking habit. I don't care if it kills the pain. Get rehab. Clean yourself up.

Anyway, I'd give him cookies :D

I have to agree with you there.
It's worst when your a guard to a building, then you'll have to deal with them more. And it's interesting at the same time freaky with what extent they'll go through just to gain a buck. Let alone what they'll do to find a place to sleep for "more" than a night.
I won't go into all of it, but I'll just say that becoming a guard had made me lose any light of sympathy I had for most panhandlers and/or homeless people. Though homeless people aren't all bad. The good ones are not panhandling, they are trying to find work and make ends meat.....just they have no place to go home to. Our last guard I worked with was homeless. So I do have some sympathy, just not for the ones panhandling.....3 months in a row and still counting.
Also, I know a few patients, nurses, even doctors in my building (I work in a medical building) who would resort to just giving the panhandlers some food and/or water. Which is a way is nice.......makes most panhandlers go elsewhere. I have seen some would get irate cause they didn't want a fresh burrito, they wanted a buck. Of course, we all know what they want to do with the money they make. Ah well.
