Well aside from like the lightning whiskers Zeraora just looks like a regular feline. With the outfit he was drawn in he could just be like a anthropomorphic cat in someone's fantasy. Hell that could also be something too, just take out the pokemon label and someone can say this is my sona, a cat with power over lightning.
That's why I think that, not saying he isn't cool cause he definitely does look cool. But if you really look at his design and take off the pokemon label, you can just say "That's my fursona" and nobody would think otherwise
