A week ago, at a small tavern on the edge of the kingdom, three men sat nursing their troubles. "Strangest thing I ever saw." Bantered the first ale swilling bar patron. "So the second the- *hiccup*- castle just sorta poofed into the sky right? There I was fishing in the lake up north and boom there comes the Rubbermancer's castle just 'swoosh' outta nowhere. I actually saw the damn thing come through reality itself. Blew my mind."
"You mean you saw it rise up from outta the lake?" His equally drunk friend inquired.
"No no no, I saw it just appear. Like all magic and stuff, they don't beat around the bush them rubbermancers. Absolutely massive floating castle, just there. Boom, like mind blowing. So yeah but the weirdest thing though- *hiccup* -was that right as it appeared there was this white-ish dragon I saw trying to beat a hasty exit from its big open doors. Then the doors closed it in though, and the castle flew off. Strange right?"
The third person at the tavern beat his mug against the counter. "A white dragon?!" The wolf looked roguish with leather armor and sharp blades fitted at his sides. "At the rubbermacer's castle? Damn..." He got up immediately and paid his tab. "I guess I have to go save him."
Now here we join an assault on the castle mid-way. "Little wolf..." The evil cackle of the arachnid rubbermancer skittered along the walls, its spindly long legs glinting in the weak torch light. "I know you're in here with me. I know why you're here, you're here for your friend." The alabaster dragon squirmed and mewled in a tight cocoon has he had for nearly weeks now, several arcs of energy coursing through him and stoking a lingering feeling of need and lust as they had for so long. The leader of the mana spiders, a large arachnid rubbermancer stroked the slowly shifting and moaning cocoon. The spider then crawled down a wall vertically and sprayed latex webbing into a doorway. "I also know I've systematically blocked off all your ways of escaping. You'll be mine soon little wolf. I'll cocoon you in layers of rubber and touch you so tenderly that I'll make you forget you love and desire anything save the deliciousness of rubber submission. Maybe I'll make you join your friend, and you can both become rubberized batteries for this castle."
In the shadows he waited in silence, hiding all traces of himself and the enchanted blades he usually had stoked to life with blue flame. Even his breath was shallow and subtle to mask his presence. He was no heroic type, no sword and shield ready to take on threats of this great a nature. He was a puckish rogue at best, and knew nothing of the erotic magics that made rubbermancy so dangerous. But still, he knew in his gut when his companion had originally said they were joining the original journey to the crypt of the rubbermancers that things wouldn't turn out well. In a way, everything was always leading to this encounter.
When the creature skittered along the walls farthest away he made a dive for his companion's cocooned form, several of the tiny mage hatted spiders flopping off the webs and darting away into the darkness. The rogue's daggers coursed with enchanted blue flame and he tried to quickly saw the webs away and free his friend. "Come on, we have to hurry!" The latex held strong, and the powerful flame magic fared poorly at making any headway. "Ah hah, I've found you little wolf." He dodged just in time as a long tether of webbing streaked through the air from a dark corner of the tower, a wide leap back allowing him to prepare for the next three shots that whirred by him, deft acrobatics allowing the rogue to dodge everything. With a thud he landed just as the rubbermancer spider dropped down before him. "Oh ho ho ho ho. Now you may as well give up, I have you right in my clutches tiny wolf." The creature gloated as the rogue took stock and felt the ground he'd landed on covered in oily black strings that had glued themselves to his legs and tails.
His daggers roared to life, magical blue flame his only defense left to save himself from a fate he knew he was inevitably bound for.
