I like the new look :3 specially the eyes ^^

Yeah that's the main thing I thought about adding to make him a bit more interesting. XD Even tho I don't wear eye shadow or skull makeup irl. ^^; Not sure if I'd keep it that color or just make it his secondary light brown fur color so he's not too intimidating looking. XD

Interesting! The skull-like markings are neat. Interestingly enough, the dark around the eyes actually makes the eyes more lizard-like, IMO (alluding to the round/bulging shape of gecko eyes). The markings on your neck makes your neck look a little thicker/turns the form more. As for the brighter red marking on the snout! I think it makes the snout look much thinner. Which, if you're going for desert punk, could make sense!

Woo, glad you like it! Funny thing is most of those details you listed were done unconsciously when designing this character, like the eyes being more gecko-like from the round dark highlights. XD Guess either I had good intuition when designing it, or what we learned about character design at art school actually came in handy!
