I thought you guys would think this is pretty awesome but it might further confuse you about me xP
Paus is from the end of the furry mystic age right before the second coming of humanity (they can't coexist. I thought it through. it's impossible). He was one of the few animals who had great and apparent physical control of the elements. His was the wind element.
His talent was discovered by a Dingo named RehChord and underwent training as a ninja. Reh had the natural control of all the elements as opposed to Pause who could only control wind. He trained with a Tabby-Cat named FohWord who exclusively controls Lightning.
FohWord, excelled at his training, even though his mental capacity was questionable. He could multiply and clone himself with the greatest of ease and could hold onto the new manifestation of himself for endless amounts of time. Foh mastered his powers, making it unnecessary for him to learn how to use scrolls.
Paus could outlast Foh and Reh in combat with his endless stamina but his control over wind was not completely absolute. It became necessary for him to learn how to make scrolls and scriptures. However, Paus couldn't write...
Training for him got worse and worse because the scripure training and his inability to do it properly. Eventually, Paus decided the repetitive cycle of failure and punishment wasn't for him.

Paus ran away to build a house in the middle of a forest where he could live in secret and study on his own terms. Eventually a young cat finds his home and begs to stay and be taught how to manage her strange powers.
Her name was Pley and she could conjure fire.
Paus agrees to let her stay and teach her but she was not allowed to leave and had to refer to him as Master until she could be trusted not to bring him trouble. Within the first day, Pley is sent to catch fish with nothing but a kunai. She comes back several hours later with another cat. FohWord.
Foh explains that he too is running away and would help to train Paus AND Pley. Paus agrees to let him stay too only Foh was given the liberty to come and go as he pleases .
Weeks go by and all seems fine. Paus has adjusted to his guests and training goes well. Until one day, RehChord finds the house as well along with his former student/self proclaimed wife Egekt, the Siamese cat, who exclusively controls water.
At first, Reh was going to let Egekt assassinate Paus as they all slept but Reh was worried what Paus might have learned so they fall back to watch for a few days. As Fohword is forced to go fish he gets surprize attacked by Reh, brutally injured and sent back to Paus. The very next day, Reh sends Egekt to challenge Paus. With Foh out of the way, the water-cat could easily defeat the wind-dog.
Unfortunately for Egekt, Paus has learned how to use a little lighting and eventually overcomes the cat. After the battle, Reh decided he will be the one to punish Paus. They fought the onesided battle with the use of a fire scroll he had drawn up. His writing skills were not perfect so the scroll meant to kill Reh only injured him enough to make a decisive victory.
Reh takes it upon himself to continue Paus' training in his house. Egekt followed his lead. Since Paus had no say in the matter, the two took it upon themselves to live with him.
As time goes by, more and more elementals come to take residence with paus, all with their own reasons, which ultimately turnout to have the same cause leading to a terrible tragedy
This is where my username comes from. Originally, Beyl wanted to hide so he dug a burrow hidden in a forest. Val finds him, loses a battle of wit and might and begs to stay, and the story picks up from there, Making a story similar to the NinjaHusky's.

BTW: Paus' weapon of choice is a pointed metal Boa-Staff (if you didn't notice, it looks alot like the level 2 Lunar Staff from Ninja Gaiden Black x3) If Ryu Hayabusa could use a boastaff as a ninja weapon, so can I, damnit! xD
