I've been teaching my friend how to DM Dungeons and Dragons in real life. I was trying to think of a character to play as if he did a run or full campaign and...this is my intended character hahaha. Meet Mimi Ulock, a Mimic King hehehe. I've made him as a character in my own current campaign, he will have the same story but not the same stats if we did him in my friend's campaign.

Mimic Kings are different from regular Mimics in that Mimics only have enough mass to be just the object they are mimicking. A Mimic King has a whole body beneath or surrounding the object they can manipulate. For instance a mimic can be a table or chair, a Mimic King can be a whole table set.

Here's his backstory summary: "A domesticated mimic king taken in as a baby by a servant of the goddess of beauty Lyria, Cleric Yuen, and his wife who could not bear children. The ultimate quest of Lyria's gentle servants is to find the beauty in all living things, especially those that are abhorrent or designed not to be beautiful. Once Mimi came of age he went on a journey to do the same as his father as a Bard of Lyria and find the beauty of something terrible as well as make his own way in the world. He's found it difficult since he is a monster, but always keeps a smile on and goes the miles to find happiness. His greatest personal desire is to find a priceless treasure to fit inside of himself and be able to let it go."

He's 28 years old. has red eyes when he shows them, can change his skin color and move his mass around to be in any shape as long as he stays 348 lbs. His voice is high pitched and effeminate and fluctuates with his odd mannerisms. Imagine the Mad Hatter's voice from the Disney cartoon version of Alice mixed with Dr. Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror. He can shape shift into any object and keep his own body parts, but he can never have an actual humanoid face to his detriment. Personality wise he's a silly frumpy dingbat who enjoys company and wants to make close friends despite his oddities and the stigma against mimics.

I originally designed him after I dared myself to try to make mimics from Dark Souls sexy hahahaha. Turned out not to be so hard at all hahaha.
