I wanted to do more typical weight lifting stuff with Duchess. I think the pose came out half decent. Face not so much. I should have drawn it bigger on paper. Coulda put more detail into it all. But either way i'm happy with my posing attempts. Just need to keep going at my paper stuff. x.x Been so long since I've drawn on it. I'm rusty as hell >:/

Hmmmm. I think the head actually looks about the right size. If anything, I think her neck is just a bit too thick. All in all though, you did a good job with the pose and the minor details look pretty sweet too.

Not the head size. The overall pic. It could have been better. But I drew it too small over all thusly lacking more detail I could have gotten.

The pose is good, though are her hands on the wrong side or can that be done with the back of the hand out? I remember doing Squats with my palms out, behind the bar.

Aside from that, it's a good picture :3

I could have sworn they lift with palms backwards and use their shoulders and the back of their trapezius to lift, then rotate their palms as they start to push up. Can't always be right i guess :P

I mean I could be wrong about stuff done on a professional level, I just remember doing what I was doing years ago X3 Plus I don't know if you'd want to take the time to turn your hands with that kind of weight on you, heh.

Its more then likely palms out. Though, when i think about it for a second. For safety it'd make more sense to hold it palms backwards incase you have to really let go of it or start to lose your balance. You just open your hands. While the other way around with palms out, you're holding it with your palms and you're most likely to take a nasty tumble backwards or over pull your arms a way you don't wanna. But then again. Lifting was done by humans :P And we know how we all are stupid accident prone people xD

Well when you have to drop it, you just let it roll back, palms fall open and it basically slides off. Plus I believe with palms out, it's to help hold it in place, rather than having to pull for forward with palms in.
