Chris surprised this wuffy today with this delightful artwork!
Looks like Vrghr is having a Gordon Ramsey moment in his kitchen! *grin* Someone militant vegetarians must have shown up, demanding he remove all BACON from his recipes! That would be sure to get the wuff's ire up!
BTW, it's a really BAD idea to anger a cook in their kitchen. 1) They spend hours a day with razor-sharp knifes, and they are intimately familiar with terms (and techniques) like, Skinning, Filleting, De-boning, and Parting Out. Not to mention things like chop, slice, dice, and mince. And 2) Kitchens are full of stuff with adjectives like, flaming, scalding, boiling, searing, and plenty of large, blunt objects (some at smoking hot temperatures).
It's very easy to do yourself a major mischief just wandering about in such a lair, let along when the fur in charge means to "bring it on". *grin*
Thank you very much, Chris & Darkanine! This was totally unexpected and hugely appreciated! It's certainly a side of wuff few see. Wonderful energy and dynamics in this scene, and great emotion! *HUGS*
Vrghr really enjoys this! Wuff is honored to be the recipient of this piece of art!

This wuff has the utmost respect for those who truly earned the title "chef". Vrghr knows he is FAR from that. This wuff is an accomplished cook, and an enthusiastic hobbyist in the kitchen. But that's a far cry from actually deserving the "chef" chops!
Wuff can turn out some nice dishes for friends and family, especially when he has hours to work on them. But lay out a hundred servings, or satisfy a dinner rush? Nope nope nope! Best this wuff has done is 30-40 meals, or an entree' for 50. And no WAY could wuff do that in the time needed to actually satisfy the clientele of a restaurant!
Kudos to those who can!!

*nodnods* Wuff in general is pretty tolerant of folks dropping into his kitchen, especially if they show an interest in learning how to do whatever it is wuffy is preparing at the moment.
But there are times, especially at the "end rush" of prep when a half-dozen items are all coming ready at the same moment, that... well... lets just that say distractions are less appreciated and you MIGHT get run over by an overweight fluffwuff as he dashes about dealing with each "critical event" as it's needed. *grin*

Well, if bacon theft were involved... maybe! *giggles*
But you're right, Vrghr is generally a LOT more easy-going.
And wuff enjoys introducing folk to the joys of cooking the how easy it can be to turn out tasty nom-noms.
And if you REALLY ticked wuff off, Vrghr is much more likely to puff a cloud of cayenne pepper your direction off his paw, than to turn a knife against you. *grins* Wuff has discovered (by accidently dropping an open bottle of the stuff so it landed 'exactly' flat and shot a cloud skyward like a pepper-mortar) that an 'innocent' crimson cloud of that stuff is very bad juju indeed!

Oh yeah! That would do it!
It's bad enough when that immediately reach for the salt and pepper shaker without tasting first. Wuff makes special effort to season the food well before it hits the table. Now Vrghr also warns that it is already salted, and recommends a taste before adding more.

Gordon can certainly get belligerent, but that guy can really cook up a storm when challenged! Wuffy cedes him this battle, along with massive respect!
Wuff watched him on a Korean interview show. They challenged him to go against their top chef, in a timed battle using their pantry (most of which was printed in Korean and unreadable to Gordon), filled with a BUNCH of ingredients he had never heard of, let alone was able to read from the labels, and cooking in a VERY limited "Kitchen" set up in their normally 'talking heads' style studio.
He managed to create multiple items against the challenger's one, and whipped them good on every one of them! That takes major chops and massive skills!
