I had a dream last night that I could be a gryphon and fly around.
Was like an owlbear/lion with taloned back legs instead of front legs.
I love owlbears and I love this so much
SHE'S A STRONG GIRL, protector of owlets <3
Colours were: black, brown, ginger, golden/cream, silver/grey, white (will edit when it comes to that aay)
Will have to place those colours later if I ever get back to this and probably adjust other things too 0: like the owl species probably (and actually have this look more like an owl wow lmfao those wings too jesus). Originally I think it was a great horned owl but I might change that to a red Eastern Screech owl, or a Pharaoh Eagle-owl if I end up going with a lighter brown. Leaning towards screech <3
Again I should probably get this big loaf to look like an owl first before deciding that smh
Bear parts (was like a mix of bear + big cat) will be a Cinnamon Black Bear fur colouration; longer fur/mane-like neck
Lion parts are going to be some basic lion colouration. Deciding on black or ginger tail tip. Back legs with the bird bits will most likely be white

Ngl I might high-key adopt this as another sona ooops //help I do this so often//
Always thought as a kid I'd be more of a tufted snowy/snow leopard sort of gryphon
I love this one so much more, felt right lmfao.
Also the dream was so PRETTY and VIVID: A sunshiny island covered in green and golden grass. Circles of trees surrounding all sorts of colourful flowers, and there were these gardens everywhere. There was a mossy castle bordered by tall hedges with a tower overlooking a glittering blue lake. Archways with vines and plants enveloping them leading to shaded areas. Like everything glowed and sparkled, I want to LIVE in that dskjfhgsdhgdgh. There were two other gryphons accompanying me as well and I remember as the gryphon, I flew low over a lot of surrounding water (like I was on an errand/mission to take baby owlets to safety someplace or something???) and that was just... so relaxing.
In contrast, I usually have a lot of nightmares and dream about bad shit so this was super refreshing when it comes to dreams! I've also been a lot happier lately... plus I've been missing seeing grass haha... there's so much snow everywhere still it's ridiculous, so I'm not surprised that a earthy and bright land was where my mind decided to take me lololol
