It isn't well known that so dire was the situation for Britain during the Second World War, vowels had to be rationed in Wales to allow their greater effective use by the Allied High Command. This forced the Welsh language to adapt to phase out vowels to help the war effort, and though this rationing has now ended, the reliance on consonants in Welsh persists. The title of this submission provides a perfect example.
On my latest return to Wales I was accompanied by a lizard exchange student from the US, who wanted to take a look around this canine's home country. Warned that the weather may not always work in our favour, he was undeterred, and so we spent a good three days exploring some of the best the South Wales has to offer. One stop on our tour was the St. Fagan's Museum of Welsh Folk Life, a small and quaint open-air museum just outside Cardiff, where a number of historical buildings, ranging in date from the 1500s to the 1950s, have been collected, restored, and put on display to the general public. They come from across Wales, and include farmhouses, shops, terraced houses, outhouses, sheds, and the odd manor house (though they may have been here before the museum). Oh, and a few sheep. Because no Welsh museum is complete without sheep. ^__^
Hope you enjoy!

Certainly! There are plenty of attractions like this throughout the south of Wales, though St. Ffagan's is rather special. There's Dan-yr-Ogof caves, the South Wales' Miners Museum, the Rhondda Heritage Centre, and Margam Park to name but a few attractions local to me. I would hope that, as most of these attractions have outdoor sections, that the weather would be better than is pictured here. ^__^
