Her expression is wonderfully done. She looks so shy that you can't help but feel a little bit sorry for her. But she's still very pretty and, purely as a point of character, I think it's an interesting touch that makes her stand out just that much more. It certainly beats yet another round of bland perfection.
Mmm, cataracts.. Been there, done that-- I was born with 'em.... Thankfully I came into this world at a time when it became treatable- I'm now without lenses in my eyes, and have been almost 44 years, now... Today, lens removal is unnessary, so I envy the newer generations. :)

Very nice indeed. The colouring is lovely here, and of course the concept is spot-on. I think one thing that sets you apart from a lot of other artists, not just on FA, is you're interested in making characters, not just fantasy objects. Characters are complex, they're flawed, but that brings out so much that just making them "perfect" won't do.
