As my weight settled onto my paws and I felt the damp rock beneath, a sense of calm washed over me. Perhaps it was the water that hit my scales and wings, or the scent of spring's flowers that penetrated my nostrils. Regardless of what it was, it gave me a sense of peace. In the midst of the chaotic forest, a spot of calm, peace, and serenity had been found. And for the time being, it was mine to enjoy for as long as I wanted...
I saw Velannal offering this - among many other great ones - YCH and I had to grab it. There's something about the setting that I find incredibly relaxing. If I had the funds, you can bet I would recreate this clearing, no matter how much landscaping and how many professionals I had to hire.
