You know, kinda like the old saying goes: "The best things in life are free". Except this one doesn't subtly hint at theft.

Found this quote on r/calligraphy's quote of the week thingy, decided to do that. Forgot to attribute the quote on paper tho, so here it is in the description.

Ink used is Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin for, well, black, and Pelikan Edelstein Smoky Quartz for the brown. Biggest mistakes I can see is that there is like, no space between "Water," and "Sun", that the arch in "Night" is too round, and that the little flourish on "have" just kinda frays. Not to mention h. The connecting squiggle is difficult and I will be doing a different version from now on.

This is also the first time I've uploaded a new script I've learned called "Batarde", or "Bastard Secretary". It's a gothic handwriting script kinda, so it is very fast to write. Seriously, I can sit down and have a whole page finished in an hour.

So, if anyone wants some blocks done in batarde, I am more than willing to take a look.
(Be sure to look at my comm info before requesting, though. Just so you don't recommend something I won't write.)
