The tail is detached to the rest of the body- how is that?

The tail is detached for purposes of reference. With the tail detached like that you can see the colors around where the base of the tail is supposed to be. If the tail were still attached you can't see what is on the other side of it. If you haven't seen the other one this is the practical application of detaching the tail. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2706480/
